APPLE MUSIC TOP 100 ALBUMS CHALLENGE

Given all the attention Apple’s 100 Best Albums of All Time has garnered about a month ago, I thought it might be a cool experiment to listen to every album on the list and give my reaction to every single one. Fortunately, I found a playlist on Spotify that gathered all the albums up, so I’ll post about one every day that I get the chance to sit down and process the album in full.

And while I’m familiar with a number of the albums, there are definitely some I have not listened to in full (or haven’t listened to in years). For those albums, I’ll give it two plays to minimize knee-jerk reactions.

The idea is to better understand why the album was selected, its appeal, and why it resonates with a modern zeitgeist.
